Gardens across the UK are a blaze of colour with plants and vegetables growing in gardens, pots and tubs. The secret to having a colourful display is feeding. Baby Bio’s Anita Dent thinks many gardeners don’t feed their plants because they don’t know which one to use.
The Big Boost Challenge was about planting identical containers and baskets and feeding one every two weeks with just water the other was using a little Baby Bio outdoors in the watering can. Anita Dent who took part in the challenge showed Ken Crowther the noticeable difference in her two baskets.
Considering the range of weather we have experienced in the UK over the summer months, plants in pots and baskets are flourishing. Ken Crowther has returned to the Cambridgeshire garden of Baby Bio’s Anita Dent to how everything is blooming.
As Ambassador for the Essex & Herts Air Ambulance, Ken Crowther is encouraging people to open their garden and raise much needed funds for the charity. As part of the summer of open garden, Baby Bio are running the Big Boost Challenge as Anita Dent explained.
Hopefully now the chance of frost has gone it is time to turn your attention to hanging baskets. These days’ baskets come in a variety of different sizes and materials from wicker and plastic to wire one you fill with moss. Keeping them looking at their best is all down to how much time and effort you put in as Anita Dent from Bayer told Ken Crowther.
