Snooping neighbours? How to use shrubs and hedging to protect your privacy


Ken Crowther looks at some planting ideas to help protect the privacy of a garden from nextdoor.
Good choices include mahonia, laurel hedging and cotoneaster.
Other options could include trees, but be careful when considering leylandii as this needs careful and constant management or it can get out of control.
