Q: Two years ago I purchased a bare root Cox’s apple, which is planted in a tub on my south facing patio. Although there was not much fruit this year there are still small apples on the tree. This morning (25/9/2012) I noticed that the tree has started to blossom again. I have never seen this before with blossom and fruit on the same branch. Should I be concerned? Regards, Pat Stenfalt
A: No, with the strange year we’ve had weatherwise there are many trees doing exactly the same as yours.
