Ken demonstrates buddleja pruning with a hand saw

A buddleja with lots of old brown blooms still on the plant and ready for pruning.

Pruning buddleja needs to happen at the start of spring once the plant begins to grow. This is because it is a resilient and fast grower and failure to keep control of a buddleja can lead to it getting out of control.

Ken gives a demonstration of how he sets about pruning back a buddleja.
