Help with growing alpines

Alpine plant in bloom on rocks.

Keith Partington from Premier Alpines has been growing alpines for the last 10 years.

The company sells wholesale to garden centres across the country and have seen an increase in demand as gardeners are growing them as bedding.

Keith says that the colours of sempervivum houseleek are so varied and dianthus offers a good plant if a variety such as ‘Mrs Sinkins’ is used.

Have you started to make use of alpine plants in your garden recently? Did you go to the Alpine Garden Society show in Essex last year? Post a comment below >>>
