Writer and broadcaster, James Wong explains his research into getting flavour back into vegetables.
His new book ‘Grow For Flavour’ is turning the tables on old school gardening methods with a new approach, which could transform flavours as James told Ken Crowther.
Research for this book looked at trials conducted at RHS Wisley and James picked the most flavoursome varieties. For example 350 different varieties of tomatoes were investigated to find out a select group of the tastiest fruit.
