The garden draws inspiration from the sand dune environment, with all planting established in sand, and will feature a dune pool, which collects rain water.

The planting was designed by Nigel Dunnett who is Professor of Planting Design and Urban Horticulture in the Department of Landscape at the University of Sheffield. The garden will be taken and located in Arbroath after Chelsea has finished.

(3/3) In the third part of an interview with Ken Crowther, Mark talks about some of the things to look out for at the show and on TV including a stand with South African quiver trees and he says pines are very in-fashion with designers.

He also highlights the Boodles Raindance Garden being built to mark 25th anniversary of the ‘Raindance’ jewellery collection. It is inspired by the impact of water on stone and the garden reflects the style and motifs of the jewellery.

(2/3) In the second part of an interview with Ken Crowther, Mark updates us on progress building at Chelsea and he tells us about his troubles with tamarisk trees.

(1/3) Mark previews the work he has coming up in May 2025 at this year’s show.
