The house and gardens of Bennington Lordship in Hertfordshire, is owned by Richard Bott, having been bought by his great grandfather in 1905.

The site is old, starting as a Saxon earthwork and then a Norman motte and bailey, before various manor houses were built on the site.

Ken Crowther spoke to Richard about the history of the garden and house.
