Q: I was wondering if you could advise on the following? I have a multifuel burner and over the winter I have accumulated five to six large sacks of ash. I was wondering if it would be any good to use on my allotment and if so which veg or fruit would it benefit? Thanks, Steve Carver
A: Yes it would be fine to use as it is high in potash. Spread and fork in, do not put directly on, or against crops.
