Residents of Chelmsford will be able to recycle their Christmas trees after the festive holiday season and help support Farleigh Hospice.
To register you tree now and book a collection slot visit Farleigh’s website.
Debbie de Boltz, Head of Fundraising at the hospice says that whilst this is a scheme open to residents in Essex many local hospices offer this service. So, check with your local hospice and see if they have a collection and disposal service in January 2025.
Contour Landscapes Ltd in Chelmsford will shred the trees and the clippings are sold for biomass and used in the creation of paths across the city of Chelmsford.
