Green roof innovation in cities benefits wildlife and increases biodiversity

Ken Crowther spoke to Dusty Gedge, a former President of the European Federation of Green Roof  Associations and a recognised authority, designer and consultant on green roofs and green infrastructure. He says, “If you do it right you can deliver a lot of environmental gains.”

In 2002 he set up an independent organisation Livingroofs.org to promote green roofs and living walls in urban areas in the UK and around the world.
