Artist Tom Hoare has a range of metal bird sculptures made out of recycled oil drums.  Each piece is handmade and Fairtrade and by a group of artists in Zimbabwe who produce some of the premium work in the world.  The range includes a number of different UK birds including the avocet, the symbol of the RSPB.  Tom spoke to Ken Crowther about the range.

The RSPB is working with a variety of partners to ‘Give Nature a Home’. One of the areas they are working in is farmland. The team at Q Lawns in Norfolk are using a small amount of their land to grow wildlife habitat, as Nicky Williamson from the RSPB told Ken Crowther.
