New winter garden at RHS Garden Hyde Hall

Work has been taking place at RHS Garden Hyde Hall to transform the flat landscape into one that matches the surrounding landscape by introducing mounds. The work has taken over four weeks and has involved moving 17,000 tonnes of soil. RHS garden manager, Andrew Lodge told Ken Crowther about some of the plants being put into the new winter garden section.
